An experience to discover the world of bees firsthand. You'll put on a suit, interact with the hives, and discover how Spanish honey is produced from the inside.
It is an educational and practical activity designed to learn, enjoy and connect with beekeeping in the natural environment of Tiedra.
What you learn
During this experience, you'll discover how a beehive works and the role of pollinating bees in nature. You'll learn how Spanish honey is produced, how the hive is organized, and why beekeeping is key to environmental balance.
Everything is explained in a simple, approachable way, designed to help you understand the true value of bee products.
What is life like?
You will experience beekeeping from the inside: you will dress as a beekeeper, visit the hives and be able to observe the work of the bees up close, from breeding to honey production.
In addition, you will complete the experience with a tasting of different varieties of Spanish honey, understanding their differences and enjoying the final result of the bees' work.

The experience takes place in Tiedra (Valladolid), at our apitourism center, La Caseta de la Miel. A natural setting surrounded by fields and beehives where you can understand the direct relationship between the land, bees, and honey.

Our most popular activity adapted for schools, where students discover the world of bees, honey production and the role of pollinating bees in an educational, approachable and participatory way.
La Caseta de la Miel is our outreach center in Tiedra (Valladolid), a space created to bring the world of bees and honey closer to you. Through apitourism, we explain how we work in our hives, how Spanish honey is produced, and why pollinating bees are essential for the balance of the natural environment. It's an educational and engaging experience where beekeeping is understood as an integral part of the land and rural life.
In addition, we offer an immersive 3D experience that allows you to virtually step inside a beehive and observe the bees at work from a unique perspective. This complements the activity and ensures that learning and education continue even when weather conditions prevent access to the outdoors.
