Ecological approach
Our organic product line was born as a natural extension of our beekeeping. It's a way of working that was already based on caring for the hives, knowing the land, and minimizing intervention in the honey and hive products.
When we talk about organic Spanish honey and organic products, we're talking about beekeeping that, in addition to being responsible, is carried out under regulated criteria that guarantee compliance with specific regulations. It's a way of formalizing and certifying a philosophy that defines our daily work.
Organic beekeeping and territory
The quality of organic honey depends directly on the environment, the abundance of flora, and the natural balance in which the bees work. Therefore, the location of the hives plays a fundamental role in organic beekeeping.
We select environments that meet specific criteria and allow for a balanced relationship between bees, flora, and human activity. In this way, organic honey not only reflects the flowers of its origin but also the territory where it is produced, providing greater traceability, authenticity, and value to the product.
The territory and transhumance
Organic production establishes clear guidelines for hive management, permitted treatments, and bee feeding. These criteria ensure that organic honey and hive products are obtained while respecting the natural balance of the ecosystem.
At Setentaynueve, this translates into beekeeping that prioritizes bee welfare, minimal intervention in the product, and complete traceability, from the hive to packaging. Every step of the process aims to preserve the honey's natural properties intact.
